What’s costing you more than you think?

Jun 25, 2025

What if the biggest drain on your momentum isn’t lack of time—but the slow leak of your attention?

Distraction isn’t harmless. It’s expensive.
It steals time, energy, and clarity—and it delays the very future you say you want.

But the real danger?
It doesn’t announce itself.
It disguises as busywork, scrolling, overthinking, checking one more thing…
And before you know it, you’re reactive instead of intentional.

Is it possible the greatest threat to your next-level vision isn’t failure—but losing focus?

Here’s what I’ve discovered:
You don’t need more time. You need more clarity.
And clarity comes from aligned decisions—made on purpose, and repeated with consistency.

As I mentioned earlier this month, this season, more than any other, can quietly pull you off course. Schedules soften. Structure fades. And urgency disappears.  Unless you decide to lead yourself differently.

I’ve had dozens of conversations lately with high-achieving women—leaders I’ve been interviewing for my upcoming book—and this theme keeps rising to the surface:

The women who are moving forward are the ones who are staying focused on what matters most.

They’ve learned to filter distractions and protect their vision.
Not perfectly. But intentionally.

So if you’re feeling the drift, here’s your mid-month invitation:
Pause. Realign. Revisit your 2-3 priorities or targets. Return to what you said matters.

If you’re committed to showing up for the future you're building, this will support you.

My free habit tracker is a simple but powerful tool to help you stay focused on what matters—especially when life gets full.

So many of you have shared how impactful it’s been in creating clarity, momentum, and follow-through.

Here’s a strategy that works: print out one (or even three) copies and track your focus, target or goal for the next 30, 60, or 90 days.

Need inspiration? Start simple:

  • Move your body for 30 minutes a day
  • Reach out to one new connection a day
  • Create a 10-minute morning routine to center yourself

What you’ll see is that consistency doesn’t just build habits—it builds your future.
