What are you saying yes to?

Aug 07, 2025

I’m curious–what do you need to say no to in order to say yes to your vision?

It’s a question I had to start asking myself years ago, when I realized that what I said I wanted and what I made time for didn’t fully align.

What I’ve discovered, both personally and through coaching high-performing women, is that the disconnect rarely comes from lack of ambition.  It comes from not yet prioritizing the space your vision requires.

Your desire is real. Your direction is clear.
But too often, your calendar is filled with everything except what moves you forward.

Here’s the thing: your calendar reveals your priorities.
And how you spend your time, it tells the truth.

As you turn the corner into a new season, this is your opportunity to reset.
Fresh starts, fall rhythms, and the final stretch of the year are calling.

This is your moment to stop squeezing your goals into the leftover spaces.
And start making space for what actually matters.

Because every time you say yes to something, you’re saying no to something else.
The real question is—what are you saying yes to?
Distraction or direction?
Obligation or opportunity?
Your comfort zone or your calling?

Saying yes to your future often requires saying no in the present.
Not from guilt.
But from priority.

Bob Proctor said it best:

"You must make your dream a priority in order for it to become your life."

So just imagine. It’s six months from now.
You’re celebrating a promotion.
Submitting the manuscript.
Standing on a stage.
Earning the trip.
Getting in the best shape of your life.
Living the vision you’ve been talking about.

Now zoom out.
If your life were playing on a movie screen, what would the audience be yelling at the lead character right now?

Take the leap. Make the call. Block the time. Say NO. Move.

The shift isn’t complicated, it’s a choice.
You already know what needs to happen.

The real question is—will you act on it?

Now work backward. And start with your schedule.

3 Ways to Align Your Calendar With Your Vision

Review with honesty.

Look at your past two weeks. What supported your goals? What distracted or drained you?

Remove what no longer fits.

Protect your energy. Say no on purpose. Not forever—just for now.

Recommit on paper.

Choose one goal you want to be celebrating by year’s end. Block time for it this week. Treat it like a non-negotiable appointment with yourself.

Is it possible that the version of you you're becoming is asking for a different level of discipline and devotion?

Not to do more. But to make space for the AND you’re called to live.

The business and the freedom.
The results and the rest.
The ambition and the alignment.

I invite you to decide on purpose.
Say no with clarity.
Say yes like your future depends on it.

Because it does.
